ILTAN (一誕일탄)

고석용의 작가노트

주변을 밝게 하고

작품을 보면 누구나 기분이 좋아지는

그런 작품을 만들고 싶었습니다.

어느 공간에 있어도 빛이 나고

보면 기분이 환해지는

내 삶의 공간에 활력을 주는

누구나 소장하고 싶은

그런 작품을 만들고 싶다는 관점에서

작가가 선택한 색은 노란색(황금색)입니다.

고석용은 <노란색의 작가>입니다.

수 십 년의 작가 생활을 돌아보며 노란색을 빛내줄 우주분화구를 닮은

주 이미지를 작품에 새겼습니다.

一誕(ILTAN)은 하나의 탄생을 의미 합니다

시리즈는 매 작품마다 세상에 유일무일한

기획미술의 결정체 입니다

우주 분화구 같은 주 이미지 속에

수많은 삼각형 패턴들의 살아 움직이는 역동적 기운(vitality)을 담아

그래서 ILTAN일탄 작품 속 노란색과 패턴은 기회와 운수를 아우르는 조합입니다

ILTAN일탄 시리즈는 발터 벤야민(Walter Benjamin)의 <아우라(Aura)의 붕괴>를

거스르는 내면적·기술적 복제가 불가능한 Aura 있는 작품임을 지향 합니다

또한

작품의 재료는 나무이고

칼 밥을 똑같이 내는 것이 불가능한 조각 특성상

TAN일탄 시리즈 복제품은 어디에도 존재하지 않습니다

수십 년 작가 생활을 이어오며

새롭게 정립된 작품 활동을 시작한 시점에서

나무 속 깊게 담긴

조각과 회화가 있는

ILTAN 일탄의 노란색(황금색) 시리즈를 시작해 보려합니다

brighten the surroundings

Everyone feels good when they see your work.

I wanted to create something like that.

It shines in any space

When I see it, I feel happy

Giving vitality to my living space

everyone wants to own

From the perspective of wanting to create such a work

The color chosen by the artist is yellow (golden).

Ko Seok-yong is an artist of < The Yellow >.

Looking back on the artist's decades of life, it resembles a cosmic crater that will glow yellow.

The main image has been engraved into the artwork.

一誕(ILTAN)means the birth of one

The series is the crystallization of planned art that is unique in the world for each work.

In the main image like a cosmic crater, the dynamic vitality of numerous triangular patterns is contained.

Yellow and patterns in the work are a combination of opportunity and luck.

The ILTAN series is based on Walter Benjamin's The Collapse of Aura.

We aim for works with Aura that cannot be reproduced internally and technically.

Due to the nature of sculpture that the material is wood and it is impossible to make the same blade, even the artist cannot reproduce the same work in the ILTAN series.

I would like to start the yellow (golden) series of ILTAN Iltan, which contains sculptures and paintings deeply embedded in trees, at the time of starting a newly established work of art after decades of life as an artist.
